Bachata Intermediate Turn Patterns & Shins

• Duration: 1 hour, once a week for 8 weeks x
Note: Each 8 week course is different, No Repeats! So you can continually learn once at this level.

Class Level:

In this Intermediate Bachatadance level we place more emphasis on timing, leading skills, styling, variations of the fundamentals, positioning, body isolation with complex moves & combinations. This is where you get to learn how to play with the structure & fundamentals taught in beginners. For the more Advanced levels, tips will be given to take it to a higher level i.e. Upper Intermediate & Advanced levels.

- Sensual Bachata Style (Spain)

- Traditional Bachata Style (Generic)

- Dominican Bachata Style (Dominican Republic)

- Bachata Moderna & Bachatango Style  (Argentine Tango influences)

- Bachata Shines

- Bachata Turn patterns, moves & combos

- Extra tricks

- Styling & Body Movement

- Advanced: Catering for Advanced level dancers as well.

- More advanced partnering techniques & dance technique

- How to dance the dance!

- Advanced Timing & understanding music & musicality better

- Demo recordings of content welcomed at the end of class.

When to Join?
Join this level 'only' when you have completed the Salsa Latina Beginners Bachata 101 8 week course ...or had private lessons!
Remember you can always repeat beginners as well as this class.

Bachata & Kizomba Routine Course

✪ Learn about how to perform through a new salsa team routine which will develop your Salsa tremendously! Train with some of the best salsa dancers in NZ to learn to perform & how to execute complex turn patterns, performance tricks, how to relate to Bachata & Kizomba music and learn a brand new routine.

✪ There's no auditioning needed, just turn up, have fun & learn.

✪ There's no pressure. No need to perform, but you can when you're ready or choose to.

✪ Great Entry level into learning the skills of performing without the same commitment or stress as a full performance team.

✪ Learn the tips and tricks, big moves 'arials' that we don't teach in our normal salsa classes. Improve your fitness and confidence.

✪ Get trained to a high standard Faster. You will look great on the social dancer floor and performing. Some of the Salsa Latina's teams will also be participating so you will learn faster.

✪ When the course finishes you can choose to carry on and possibly perform with Salsa Latina's teams.
This can also be taken further to help when you audition for other teams

Look out for advertisements on our Courses on our newsletter, usually starting nearer the start of year in
February through to April

Performance courses can lead into performing & competitions, but not a requirement.
Some teams require auditions while performance courses you don't need to.
We are always on the look out for new people. If you are interested in performing please get in contact with us.

If there is nothing available right now, we recommend joining our regular dance Classes to build your level.
