🏔️ Hanmer Salsa Winter Festival - 22 Aug 2025

++++ THIS WEEKEND COMING ++++ Prepare to light up the dance floor at the Alpine 'Hanmer Winter Salsa Festival' coming up shortly. This fantastic weekend getaway is set for mid-August 2025, offering a variety of dance workshops and classes in Salsa & Bachata for improver - intermediate levels and above. Take advantage of the expertise of two renowned Australian instructors along with four Kiwi instructors, and join an unforgettable event packed with parties, hot pools, and endless fun!

Full passes grant access to all workshops and parties, so make sure to secure yours before they run out, currently there are only 20 or so tickets (Full Passes) available.

Alternatively, if you only want to attend just a party or two, there are unlimited tickets available for discount for a few more days, but prices will go up soon if you miss online sales, so don't miss out! 🇨🇾 Reuben & Milena now located in Europe

Reuben & Milena, are now in the Eastern Mediterranean and enjoying the social dancing in Cyprus. They will be away for at least 6 - 8 months.

If you want to stay in touch you can see what they are up to on their facebook and instagram accounts, they will gladly add you. While they are away 'Salsa Latina' is continuing to thrive with our new teaching team. With continued support from our international teachers in Europe — keeping our amazing community strong and vibrant.

They are taking privates lessons via live online sessions if you are interested please use the contact form on this website.

Salsa Beginner 101 Grading: Tuesday 12th August 2025

Congratulations to all Beginner Bachata students who took on the challenge of the Beginners 101 Grading. This was a great size grading class and had a 100% pass rate. 3 of the dance students have also achieved a high level "Platinum Grade" - an excellent achievement!

To continue improving, we recommend a combination of practice, online classes, private lessons, group classes, and social dancing. This is especially true for Beginner lessons, which are designed to be repeated. Gradings for Progression

Gradings are required to progress to the next levels, its also designed to help improve you fundamental level, so If you didn't get a platinum grade on the first attempt this is actually normal for most 90% of people who are new to dance
