Our first social night at Engineers was a huge success! We packed out the venue with dancers, it was such a great space for dancers with allot of fresh air and we thank everyone that supported the night by buying a drink or two. Great news due to the overwheling success we have been notified that we will continue to run these Salsa nights at Engineers, we're in the process of confirming the next dates, but stay tuned! It's been a couple of weeks now and 'Salsa Latina' and the NEW Studio & classes are running smoothly as usual. Tons of free parking behind the studio & no staircase. Please note the entrance is on the rear of the building not the street side....
🌟 Salsa Shines Performance Course This Sunday Coming
This Easter Sunday at "V Dance Studio - 96 Byron St " join Salsa Mixed Shines team coming soon on Sundays 20th April at 4pm, to qualify you need to be at the Imp-Int level and above - ideally more than 6 months dancing Salsa & please bring your regular concession card, while it may not be free, there is no commitment on this start date, everyone welcome to give it a go........ see this page for details >

🌟 Learn Salsa On2 aka Mambo - Next Tuesday
Next Tuesday at 7:40pm, our Salsa Imp-Int level class is at a special part of the Salsa Module where you learn Salsa On1 to On2 Conversion. Learn how to dance on the "2," which is popular in New York. Learn more about Salsa music and how to connect to the percussion. This is part of the normal syllabus, and we highly recommend not missing this class, which will finish the 204 module. ... more on this page >
🌟 Salsa Beginners Tuesday is Canceled ...But!
Tuesday Salsa Beginners class at 6:15 pm has been canceled due to the studio relocation & booking issues. We encourage participants of that course to join the New Thursday Salsa Beginner class at 6:15 pm, or to rejoin us on Tuesdays when the course starts on May 6th. In both scenarios, you will still receive a Free 1st class during week#1. Additionally, we are offering another FREE class due to the changes for those that have only just started dancing, just mention this when you turn up to a class and show your concession card if you have one. You can get a Free class on Week#2, Week#3 or Week#4 on either of these course. No need to enrol, just turn up.
🌟 Salsa Tuesday Classes Starts 10mins Later Until May
All Tuesday classes start slightly later, starting at 7:40pm instead of 7:30pm for the next few weeks, this is becuase there is a booking prior (just for a few weeks). ... See timetable for details
🌟 Private Lessons & Gradings Fixed Times
We now have a fixed time for private lessons 5:30pm-6:00pm Monday to Thursdays only. This will hold multiple lessons at the new studio at once with multiple & various teachers, please book a private lesson or a private grading at these times to attain the best savings with no studio fees. Other time slots will inccur extra studio fees. .... private lessons >

GRADING RESULTS:
Bachata Beginner 101 Grading: Monday 11th April 2025
Congratulations to all Beginner Bachata students who took on the challenge of the Beginners 101 Grading. This Bachata class had a 100% pass rate. Amazingly, 5 of the dance students have also achieved a high level "Platinum Grade" - an excellent achievement!

Dance Growth
To continue improving, we recommend a combination of practice, online classes, private lessons, group classes, and social dancing. This is especially true for Beginner lessons, which are designed to be repeated. Gradings are required to progress to the next levels, its also designed to help improve you fundamental level, so If you didn't get a platinum grade on the first attempt this is actually normal for most 90% of people who are new to dance ...read more >
